Duct/Immersion temperature sensor is invasive type device with an insertion probe going into typically air ductwork, or pipework with a stainless steel or brass thermowell. Active sensor (4-20 mA) is used. The electronic parts are housed in an IP65 / NEMA 4X rated enclosure.
